Pet Ultrasound

A pet ultrasound allows us to take a sneak peek at the internal soft structures of your bud. This allows our team to get a closer look and detect and diagnose a variety of internal health issues.

What happens during a pet ultrasound?

The following abdomen and chest organs are frequently examined using this technology to look for problems and illnesses:

Heart

Liver

Intestines

Gallbladder

Bladder

Spleen

Kidneys

Adrenal glands

Some shaving of the chest or abdomen may be necessary, depending on the area of the body that has to be seen by the ultrasound. A conductive gel will be put to the skin’s surface, just like it would be for a human ultrasound, and a probe will be gradually moved across the area.
